Importing Places

The Place import functionality is a very efficient way of creating Places and geofences programmatically instead of manually doing so one by one. The Import function allows for unlimited number of Places to be imported.  Simply import a CSV file with the required information for each Place.

1. Navigate to “Places” and click on “Import” at top. 
   
   

2. Click on the “Choose File” button to Import your CSV file.  Note the CSV file requires each column to be filled out for each individual Place.

3. Click “Submit” button

Import Progress & Status Page:

Status Column will confirm if Import is Pending, Running or Complete Places Imported Column will confirm how many Places have been successfully imported Failed Imports Column will display how many Places were not successfully imported

Import confirmation emails are sent to the email on the user’s account to identify the status of the Import.

CSV Error Identification:

If there are errors in your Import, we identify where the error exists in a CSV file so you can quickly find and fix.
