Importing Geofences

Gimbal provides list of pre-defined Geofences called “Public Geofences.”  This gives you immediate access to thousands of pre-built licensed and verified geofences, including  airports, stadiums, sports venues, campuses, malls, shopping districts, neighborhoods, hospitals and more.

1. To create a new geofence using a pre-built, public geofence simply navigate to “Places” tab, click  on “+ New”
   
   
   

2. Name your Place and click on “Import Geofence” from Import Public Geofence
   
   
   
   

3. Search for a specific geofence and click the check box for desired Place. Click “Select” at bottom.

   NOTE: only one geofence may be selected (as Places can only include one geofence)
   
   
   
   

4. Public geofence will automatically be added as a Place. Edit Place directly on “Detail” tab.

   NOTE: Public geofences have pre-defined Attributions that cannot be edited.
