Does a Sighting event get logged in the phone for every Bluetooth® Smart broadcast sent by a Beacon?

Sighting events (including the beacon ID and RSSI value) are logged in the phone if the following conditions are true:

• The beacons detected by the phone are on your account. For example, if the phone can detect five beacons at once, it logs sightings for all five beacons if they are all on your account.
• You have written code to log the sightings on the phone.

The device does not log every single instance, but on a very frequent basis.
