Beacon packaging and Barcodes

Our beacons come in various packages and utilize various barcodes depending on which product you receive and in what quantities you order.  Here are details of each:

Series 10 beacons

Each Unit:

• 2D Data Matrix barcode inside each beacon representing the non-hyphenated FactoryID/Activation Code
• Packet in a small, clear poly bag except when provided in a reconfigured state
• Provided individually or in full Masterpacks

Note: Barcodes on the outside of the beacon's poly bag and on the outside of each beacon Masterpack are used by our fulfillment systems only.

Masterpack size: 1,680 Units

Pallet size: 27 Masterpacks (45,260 Units)

Series 21 and Series 22 beacons

Each Unit:

• 2D Data Matrix barcode inside each beacon representing the non-hyphenated FactoryID/Activation Code
• The same 2D Data Matrix barcode is also on the side of each unit box and is readable when each Masterpack is opened (e.g., face up)
• Provided in individual unit boxes or in Masterpacks

Each Masterpack:

• Masterpack size: 10 Units
• The exterior of each Masterpack also contains 2D Data Matrix barcodes for each unit contained within the Masterpack
• Pallet size: 300 Masterpacks (3,000 Units)

Note: Barcodes on the outside of each Masterpack are used by our fulfillment systems only.

U-Series 5 USB beacons

Each Unit:

• Printed FactoryID on the side of each beacon (no barcode on the unit itself)
• Each unit is packed in an anti-static bag which has a 2D Data Matrix barcode on it
• Provided in individual unit packages or in Masterpacks

Each Masterpack:

• Masterpack size: 200 Units
• Pallet size: 50 Masterpacks (10,000 Units)
