Create a New Communication

A “Communicate” is a mobile push notification that you can easily and quickly build and launch in Gimbal Manager.  It gives you the ability to send notifications to your app’s users.  To create a new Communication follow the steps below.

1. Navigate to “Communicate”
   
   
   
2. Click on “New Communication”
   
   

3. Name your Communication

4. Select a Start and End Date that the Communication will run
   
   
   
   

5. (Optional) Attributes that you can add to your Communication
   
   

6. Select the Event (that will Trigger the Communication)
   
   Event Triggers include: User Arrives, User Departs, Time of Day, or Fetch Content by Attributes
   
   
   

7. Select a specific Place or all Places where the Communication will occur. 

8. Select a Specific Day and Time that the Communication will occur
   
   
   
   

9. Select a Specific Dwell Time that will be required before the Communication is delivered

10. Optional Frequency Capping (to limit the number of times a user can receive the Communication)

11. Enter Notification Title, Description and URL (optional)
