How can I configure my Gimbal beacon to be a Gimbal iBeacon?

All Gimbal iBeacons are managed by the Gimbal Manager. First create an iBeacon configuration, login to Gimbal Manager and navigate to 'Beacons Configurations' > 'New Configuration'.

Assign the newly created iBeacon configuration to a beacon:

Once you have created an iBeacon configuration, you can assign this configuration to a beacon. Assigning a configuration indicates to the server that you want to apply that configuration to the specified beacon.

To do so, navigate to  'Beacons' > click 'Edit' and select the newly created iBeacon configuration from the 'Assigned Configuration' drop down menu.

Apply a configuration to a beacon:

In order to apply the configuration to the Gimbal beacon, you must use the Gimbal Beacon Manager application that can be installed from the Apple App store (currently available in the US, Canada, Japan and UK app stores).

Once logged in, tap the settings button and then tap the 'Configure' menu option. Follow the directions on screen.
