Our sample applications allow Gimbal customers to test the most up-to-date SDK and beacon functionality before integrating the Location SDK into their own apps. We provide an updated sample app coupled with every SDK release. This is especially helpful for developers because they can dive into the SDK to learn, analyze, and compare against working source code.
These applications are available for both iOS and Android. Below are the instructions on how to access them and get them up and running on your test devices.
Step 1: Navigate to manager.gimbal.com and select the Home tab on the left menu. Here is where you can download our sample apps for both iOS and Android.
Step 2: Next step would be to generate a new API Key, which is a very simple process found here.
Step 3: After generating the API key for iOS or Android, you will have to open the downloaded project.
