Push Configuration
In order to leverage both Instant Communications and Time-based Communications your application must be properly configured for Push Notifications. Before getting started, you must have access to your Push Notification Client SSL Certificate. Please refer to this article that walks through the process of generating the necessary certificate:
Once the certificate is generated, navigate to the Applications tab in the Gimbal Manager and click on the application you would like to modify. Once on the app detail page, click on the "Push Configuration" menu option in the header.
Step 1: Click on "Choose File" and select the certificate file
Step 2: Enter the password for your certificate that you set when you exported your password with Keychain Access.
Step 3: Select Environment (Development or Production)
Step 4: Enable or Disable APNS Feedback Service
Note: Only disable the APNs Feedback Service if you intend to delete invalid iOS Device Tokens yourself.
Step 5: Save Push Configuration
Push Limit
To restrict the number of daily push notifications per application, navigate to the Push Configuration page for your application, enter your desired limit and click save.
